Sabu was given his medicine and was healthy before a forever home could be found. Jeanne Brosh provided that foster home. "My foster mom just fell head-over-heels in lo-vv-v-e with me. She said I would stay with her forever….and ever." smiles Sabu. "I feel in love with her too. She nursed me back to health. She gave me hugs and kisses. She taught me how to walk nicely and gave me lots of good food."

Sabu loves to swim. He goes to obedience school at the 4H center. His favorite food is chicken and roast beef. "I can smell it cooking from a mile away" giggles Sabu. "But we really love each other."

Sabu loves to be with people, he loves other animals and especially loves children. "Mom says I'm a terrible watchdog and she is right. I just love everyone too, too much!" sighs Sabu.

Sabu loves to hear stories and his very favorite thing in the whole world is laying quietly while a child reads to him. He hopes many children will visit him at the library and read him lots and lots of books. Will it be you?
