Vineland High School Student Art Exhibit

The annual Vineland High School Student Art Exhibition is being featured at the Vineland Public Library during May. Over 100 student artists are displaying their work in a variety of media including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pencil, pen & ink, air brush, printing, photography, sculpture and pottery.

A reception to meet the artists and their teachers will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mentions in all media during the reception. The Ernest Fiore Memorial Award for Best of Show will also be presented. Refreshments will be served and music will be provided by the Vineland High School String ensemble and the Vineland High School Choral Group.

The Art Exhibition is an annual event to offer the community an opportunity to see the artistic talent of Vineland High School students. It is arranged by the Vineland High School Fine Arts Department. This event provides students with the satisfaction of seeing their work displayed and helps prepare those going on to art school.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours: Monday-Thursday, 9-9; Friday and Saturday, 9-5. All areas are accessible to the handicapped. For more information, please call the library at 794-4244.
