Vineland Public Library Puppy Tales
now an affiliate of the national R.E.A.D.© program

Vineland Public Library’s Puppy Tales program has been accepted as an affiliate group of the national R.E.A.D.© (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) program. To become an affiliate group all members of Puppy Tales were required to complete specialized training and testing. In addition, all Puppy Tales dogs are registered, tested and insured therapy dogs that have also passed the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test. There are over 1,300 R.E.A.D.© teams in 48 states, 3 provinces of Canada, Belgium, England, and very soon in Poland. Vineland Public Library Community Relations Coordinator Anita Lupcho is one of only 23 certified R.E.A.D.© instructors nationwide. She has been invited to be a presenter at the national R.E.A.D.© Conference this May in Salt Lake City, Utah.
