The Garden Patch Quilters
display work at Vineland Public Library

Quilts created by members of The Garden Patch Quilters are being featured at Vineland Public Library, 1058 E. Landis Avenue, during February in the Tripp Room and exhibit cases located on the 1st floor of the library. Each quilt displayed has a special story. Award winning quilts are included in the exhibit. A “Meet the Artist” reception will take place on Sunday, February 28 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the library’s Doris Tripp Room. Refreshments will be served.

The Garden Patch Quilters was founded in October, 1986. The group usually meets at Wheaton Village in Millville, NJ at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month. Meeting activities include demonstrations, guest speakers and the sharing of skills and projects. Quilters from this group will also be featured at a quilt show in Wheaton Village during March, 2010.

The display is available during regular library hours: M– T (9-9), Friday & Saturday (9-5), Sundays (October to March) 1-5. All areas of the library are handicap accessible. Call the library at 794-4244 for more information.
