American Sign Language Classes at Vineland Public Library


The Vineland Public Library, 1058 E. Landis Avenue, is proud to offer free classes in American Sign Language! Join self-taught American Sign Language instructor Marcus Cruz and learn how to communicate with the deaf community and understand deaf culture. These classes will focus on facts about the deaf community and learning the alphabet, numbers, common phrases, sentences, and much more! Classes will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Community Event Room on the following Thursdays:

• April 6
• April 13
• April 20
• April 27 (This program will take place in the Teen Room.)
• May 4
• May 18

These free classes are sponsored by the Friends of the Vineland Public Library. Class size is limited and registration is required. Those who register must attend all six classes. Please call 856-794-4244 ext. 4243 to register.
