Creative young adults ages 13-18 who are current volunteers or who would like to share their ideas for programs at the Vineland Public Library are invited to participate in teen programs each month.

The following is the teen program schedule.

Teen programs are funded by The Friends of the Vineland Public Library. Programs are for ages 13-18 only unless otherwise noted.

 

Teen Club Meeting

Wednesday, March 1, 5 to 7 p.m., Teen Room – Help us plan upcoming programs for children and teens, and make decorations for a Fandom Tree..

Teen Volunteer Training

Monday, March 6, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Children's Department - Need to fulfill some volunteer hours? Fill out a Teen Volunteer application and attend a volunteer shelving training session. *YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 & HAVE STARTED 8TH GRADE TO VOLUNTEER.* Please only attend if you want to learn how to shelve books in the Children's Department

Teen Anime Night

Wednesday, March 8, 5 to 6:30 p.m.,Teen Room -View and discuss anime and share artwork. This program is in compliance with an agreement through Crunchyroll. To register, call the Children's Department at 856-794-4244 ext. 4246 or register here.

Healthy Snack Program

Wednesday, March 15, 5 to 6 p.m., ages 13-18, Community Event Room – Teens are invited to participate in a hands-on Healthy Snack Program presented by Elise Demming, Retail Dietitian Nutritionist of ShopRite of Landis. Book Discussion

Wednesday, March 22, 5 to 6 p.m., ages 13-18, Teen Room – Teens will discuss The Maze Runner by James Dashner. Sixteen-year-old Thomas wakes up with no memory in the middle of a maze and realizes he must work with the community in which he finds himself if he is to escape. Registration is required for this program.

Teen Movie & Pizza Program

Wednesday, March 29, 5 to 7:30 p.m., ages 13-18, Teen Room – Teens are invited to watch a movie and enjoy some pizza. This spin-off of the Harry Potter franchise jumps back in time to explore the wizarding world of New York in 1926. When author Newt Scamander arrives in the city as part of a global study of fantastic beasts, he gets caught up in a conflict when some of the magical creatures in his care are accidentally released. Registration is requested for this program. This PG-13 movie is shown in compliance with a license from Movie Licensing USA.
